United Way Week of Caring

Our thanks go out to all who participated in this year's Week of Caring!
We appreciate all that you did for us. Here are pictures of some of the wonderful people who volunteered at BritesideOne's new site on Sand Hill Road.

Extract magic from a hazy afternoon --
you see the sky
and can enjoy the unique topaz sky.

A simple strike --
he chose
the magestic vein
of gold!

The golden curtained windows
with golden, mellon light
Crisply cross-hatched the carpet.

Wandering through the woods
at dawn
Take comfort at the touch
of a breeze.

On the blustery winds of
March
comes Spring -
shrugging off
winters gloom
as buds burst forth.
Gardeners
till the soil
in preparation to plant
flowers and vegetables
into sun-kissed gardens.
The Earth gently wakes up -
we leave our coats behind
and open windows
to robin's return
and laughing children playing
into the evening
to the symphony of birdsong
and peeper's calls.
